What does a hair implant consist of?<\/h3>\t\t\t

Hair implant or transplantation is a surgery that allows us to correct bald areas (partial or total absence of hair in some areas of the scalp, eyebrows, eyelashes, beard, etc.), in both men and women.
\nThe hair implant\u00a0 procedure is performed under local anesthesia or sedation or general anesthesia and is minimally invasive and we redesigns the way the patient wishes to improve their bald area and improves hair coverage.
\nThe initial recovery process lasts 10 to 15 days, and results are gradually seen over time. Final recovery is achieved between 6 months and 1 year after the treated area has healed and the new hair follicles have adapted.
\nThe surgery can last between 4 and 10 hours depending on the area being treated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Anyone wishing to undergo a hair transplant must meet the following health conditions and meet the requirements listed below:

\n\u2022 Good nutritional status
\n\u2022 Prior psychological evaluation, if possible
\n\u2022 Review or evaluate the motivation that led to the decision to undergo the hair transplant procedure.
\n\u2022 Have no active medical condition
\n\u2022 Thoroughly review patient history, including: existing illnesses or pathologies, family history, previous surgeries, among others
\n\u2022 Read the instructions given by your doctor and any warning signs and emergencies
\n\u2022 Have a complication insurance policy if required
\n\u2022 Review the patient’s tissue quality to decide on reconstruction or whether they have both a donor and recipient area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Care after a transplant?<\/h3>\t\t\t

\u2022 Avoid excessive exercise (you will start going to the gym after one month with established guidelines to prevent dehiscence or trauma).
\n\u2022 Care for the hair grafts as directed.
\n\u2022 Walk around immediately, which will prevent PE (thrombi).
\n\u2022 Wear the compression bandage that was applied after the procedure until it is removed by your doctor.
\n\u2022 Take medications as directed by your attending physician.
\n\u2022 Hydrate with water and serum for the grafts every 2 hours initially and daily as directed.
\n\u2022 Avoid performing any maneuvers or treatments other than those prescribed by your attending physician.
\n\u2022 Your first hair wash will be done directly in the clinic to prevent graft loss.
\n\u2022 Postoperative checkups as directed.
\n\u2022 Be familiar with the warning signs and emergency procedures and report them immediately.
